Sergey I. Shumilin as the Head of “Upstream Pruduction &
Trading (CIS)” is a member of the Management Team of the
Centrex Group. In 2006 he joined the Board of Directors
of Centrex Energy & Gas AG and the Advisory Board of
Centrex Central Asia Gas AG. Since 2005 he is the
General Director and a member of the Board of Directors
of Oil & Gas Industry Services LLC. Currently Sergey I.
Shumilin also heads the Moscow Representative Office of
Centrex Group.
Since 1989 he had held management posts in the Russian
and international industry and financial services sector
and also worked as a business consultant. Furthermore,
Sergey I. Shumilin was the Head of a number of Russian
research institutes.
Sergey I. Shumilin holds a doctor degree in economics
from the Institute of World Economy and International
Relations of Russian Academy of Sciences. He graduated
from the Bauman Moscow State Technical University.
